Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bart Cubbedge (ranked 3784 p4p, 3171 weight class) and Kristof Pardi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pardi has chosen Party Boy Theme as his entrance music. Kristof Pardi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kristof Pardi!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pardi throws an overhand right that lands on Cubbedge 's shoulder, as Cubbedge tries to avoid the shot.
Cubbedge has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Pardi misses with a hook.
We've been informed that Pardi has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Cubbedge shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pardi is trying to defend but Cubbedge finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Pardi wants to control but Cubbedge is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Cubbedge is looking for a kimura but Pardi is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cubbedge to get the leverage.

Cubbedge wants to work for an arm triangle but Pardi is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Cubbedge misses with a head shot. Pardi uses the momentum to regain guard.
Cubbedge 's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Cubbedge stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pardi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Cubbedge tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pardi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cubbedge somewhat.

Pardi looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Pardi throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Pardi lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Pardi lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Cubbedge is refusing to be controlled, as Pardi sits in half guard.

Cubbedge is trying to get back to full guard.
Cubbedge is not content to let Pardi control the position.

Cubbedge gets full guard.
Pardi looking to sit in guard and control but Cubbedge gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Cubbedge is looking to advance position but Pardi has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Cubbedge is in all sorts of trouble here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Cubbedge is working hard here to advance position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Kristof Pardi dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Cubbedge shoots in looking for a takedown. Pardi tries to sprawl out of it but Cubbedge keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pardi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bart Cubbedge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cubbedge looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pardi is fending him off so far but Cubbedge persists. Nope, Pardi circles away and we're back to standing.

Pardi drives through with a takedown into Cubbedge 's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Pardi wants to pass to mount but Cubbedge is defending the position.
Pardi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cubbedge keeps working.
Kristof Pardi has got the better of the ground game so far.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Pardi connects with a nice short shot to Cubbedge 's temple.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Pardi slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Cubbedge fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pardi sprawls well initially but Cubbedge persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Oh Cubbedge is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pardi is working Cubbedge over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Pardi is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Pardi gets to his feet and stands over Cubbedge , holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Cubbedge felt that one! Pardi unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Cubbedge from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kristof Pardi!
