Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Billy D (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gota Yo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yo has chosen Pass Out as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Franklyn Lucas and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from D.
Yo fails to land with a series of punches.
Yo throws a nice looking combination but D bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

The fight stays on the outside here - D looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

D tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Yo swivels and escapes.
Yo stuffs the takedown attempt from D. D gets slowly back to his feet.
Yo leaves D with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

D changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Yo tries to avoid it but D manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Yo to the ground. Yo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
D drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, D just misses with a elbow thrown towards Yo's brow.

D has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

D is pressing down on Yo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Yo is holding on for now.
D is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Yo tries to kick D off but D keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Yo cracks D with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Yo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from D.
D uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Yo.
Yo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Yo connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between D's hands.

D moves out of range as Yo throws a body kick.
Excellent takedown into side control there by D.

D working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Yo is looking to work his way out of this bad position but D is controlling him well.
D is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Yo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd cheers as Yo lands an impressive looking overhand right. D doesn't seem phased though.

Yo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
D fails with an attempt to clinch.
D doesn't manage to clinch there - Yo circles away.
D shoots in and drives through. Yo sprawls well.

D shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Yo's guard.
D is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Yo is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Yo has escaped and now he's on top!
D has a closed guard, preventing Yo from standing up.
D had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Yo is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. D Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Yo's back instead.
Yo is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Yo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with D. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

D is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Yo is defending well though. D let's go of the attempt for now.
D is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Yo defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
D is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
