Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hannibel Poe (ranked 4376 p4p, 4335 weight class) and Sanchez Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hannibel Poe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sanchez Gonzalez!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poe closes the distance and pushes Gonzalez back into the cage.
Poe tries for a takedown but Gonzalez manages to get underhooks.
Poe pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Poe shoots in and drives through. Gonzalez sprawls well.
Poe shoots for a takedown but Gonzalez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hannibel Poe. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Poe closes the distance and clinches.
Poe fails to pull guard.
Poe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Poe is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gonzalez looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Poe darts in and clinches Gonzalez up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Poe is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Gonzalez to keep the fight standing.
Poe misses with a body punch.
Poe trying to stall but Gonzalez improves his position.
Poe tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gonzalez smiles and moves away.
Gonzalez slips a jab and a cross from Poe.
Gonzalez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hannibel Poe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Poe dives in and grabs Gonzalez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gonzalez pushes down on Poe's head and hops out.
Poe throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gonzalez swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Poe closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Poe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gonzalez keeps working.
Poe working the head and body with strikes.
Gonzalez tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Poe wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Poe thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Gonzalez tries to bench press Poe off him but Poe keeps the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Poe is looking to take a break and control but Gonzalez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Gonzalez is looking to reverse the position.
Poe tries to advance to mount but Gonzalez denies him.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Poe tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Gonzalez wants to control but Poe postures up.
Poe creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Gonzalez sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Gonzalez parries the strikes from Poe easily there. Poe is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Gonzalez to escape.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Poe tries to clinch but Gonzalez moves out of range.
Poe fails with the takedown.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Hannibel Poe dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Poe tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Gonzalez counters with a big right hand! Oh Poe is in trouble here! Gonzalez follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sanchez Gonzalez!
