Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 24646 p4p, 24671 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Walay Buut enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 28 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 23 - 23 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Buut tries for a takedown but Mibangon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Buut with a poor takedown and Mibangon counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Buut closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Mibangon tries to get back to half guard but can't. Buut content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buut trying to control the action but Mibangon is working from the bottom. Mibangon is looking to regain half guard here but Buut keeps moving and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Buut working away. Buut just content to control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Buut changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mibangon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Buut trying to control the position but Mibangon is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Mibangon's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Buut staying calm. Mibangon struggling a bit here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Buut with the ground and pound but Mibangon regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Mibangon trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mibangon controls the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Walay Buut will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Horrible takedown attempt by Mibangon or perhaps it was just good defense by Buut, which made it look bad. Buut raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Buut looks for a takedown but Mibangon sprawls well. Mibangon thinks about countering with a body kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mibangon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Buut avoids it really well and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mibangon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Minatay Mibangon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mibangon gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Buut controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Let's hope that Buut has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut is continuing to stall. Buut wants to control from the top but Mibangon keeps moving. Mibangon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Buut is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Buut tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mibangon swivels and escapes. Mibangon shoots in for a takedown but Buut shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Buut changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Mibangon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Buut's guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mibangon is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Buut is adopting a defensive guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Walay Buut showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Buut fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mibangon to the ground. Buut is now in Mibangon's guard. Buut sitting in guard, not really doing much. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mibangon controls Buut momentarily but Buut frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buut trying to control but Mibangon is working from the bottom. Mibangon managing to control the position. Walay Buut has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Mibangon looking to control.
Mibangon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Buut is one step ahead there.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Mibangon closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Buut quickly recovers to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mibangon not doing much here.
Buut is looking to control Mibangon's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Buut avoid being mounted?
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Buut tries to get to full guard but Mibangon has control of the leg. Buut flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Minatay Mibangon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Walay Buut is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Buut wants to control but Mibangon is keeping busy and won't allow it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mibangon controlling the action here.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Minatay Mibangon. I think Buut has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
