Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yawa Kiang (ranked 24715 p4p, 24630 weight class) and Way Nada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yawa Kiang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 29 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Way Nada! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Kiang looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nada is fending him off so far but Kiang persists. Nope, Nada circles away and we're back to standing. Nada follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Nada shoots for a double leg takedown but Kiang sprawls well. He's pushed Nada's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kiang lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Kiang stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kiang wants it to stay on the feet. It looked like Kiang was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Nada. Nada is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kiang sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Kiang appears to be looking for a big counter. Yawa Kiang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Way Nada. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kiang misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Nada is trying to counter with his kicks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nada changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kiang looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Kiang can't do much from the bottom here. Nada controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kiang tries to improve position but can't. Nada trying to control the position but Kiang is working away. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Nada is looking to take a break and control but Kiang is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Kiang shoots in for a takedown but Nada shows good takedown defense. Nada unleashes a big counter combination but Kiang bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Nice sprawl there from Nada as Kiang shoots in. Nada thinks about the counter body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nada shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kiang defends it nicely. Kiang seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Kiang shoots in and gets a takedown into Nada's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kiang is fighting to break Nada's control of his arms but Nada is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Nada keeping moving, preventing Kiang from controlling successfully. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Way Nada will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

That's one minute gone in the round. Nada missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Kiang keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Kiang gets caught napping as Nada dives in and scores a takedown. Kiang manages to retain guard. Nada controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nada in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kiang lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Kiang is fighting to break Nada's control of his arms but Nada is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Kiang content to stall in guard here. Kiang's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nada pulls Kiang in to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Nada shoots in but no luck this time. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! No luck for Kiang with that takedown attempt. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Way Nada showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! Nada will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kiang throws a quick counter kick to the body but Nada avoids it. Nada changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kiang tries to avoid it but Nada manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kiang to the ground. Kiang escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nada looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kiang jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Yawa Kiang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Way Nada. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nada throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kiang tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Nada is in Kiang's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nada preventing the sweep. Kiang managing to control the position. Nada working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Nada is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Nada being controlled here momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Nada looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kiang shoots in and gets a takedown into Nada's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nada is pulling down on Kiang's head. It's preventing any offense from Kiang, at least for the moment. Nada can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kiang controls the pace. Yawa Kiang has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Way Nada is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Nada bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kiang's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Way Nada. I've got Nada winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
