Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akamaru Jackson (ranked 568 p4p, 1443 weight class) and Doppo Orochi (ranked 79 p4p, 172 weight class). Doppo Orochi will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Akamaru Jackson!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Doppo Orochi!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orochi throws a leg kick that is checked
and Jackson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Orochi's guard.
Jackson is stalling in the full guard.
Orochi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jackson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jackson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson distracts Orochi with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Jackson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Orochi is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Jackson frees his head nicely. Oh but Orochi has switched to an armbar! Jackson is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
