Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Felix Pappalardi (ranked 737 p4p, 1776 weight class) and Zdravko Dren Jr (ranked 99 p4p, 213 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Zdravko Dren Jr!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dren Jr scores with a hook to the body. Pappalardi takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Dren Jr uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pappalardi.
Pappalardi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Dren Jr misses with a kick to the body
and Pappalardi counters with a right hand to the body.
Pappalardi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dren Jr moves away.
Dren Jr throws a sloppy head kick and Pappalardi moves out of range easily.
Dren Jr takes a swing at Pappalardi's ribcage but misses.
A little feinted left hand from Pappalardi on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Dren Jr has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Pappalardi connects with a body shot.
Pappalardi takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Nice body punch from Pappalardi.
Pappalardi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dren Jr.
Pappalardi is looking to wear down Dren Jr with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Dren Jr throws a body kick that misses.
Pappalardi scores with the left hand. Dren Jr knows he should have avoided that one.

Pappalardi lands a nice hook to Dren Jr's body. Dren Jr takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

The crowd cheers as Pappalardi lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dren Jr doesn't seem phased though.
Dren Jr turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Pappalardi scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Dren Jr misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pappalardi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dren Jr looks winded!
Dren Jr misses with a head kick.
A counter left hand to the body from Pappalardi misses its target.
A telegraphed right hand from Dren Jr misses the target.
Dren Jr gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pappalardi feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Dren Jr sprawling to the canvas! Dren Jr rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Pappalardi finish him?!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pappalardi bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dren Jr's head backwards.
Dren Jr is rocked!
Pappalardi connects with a body shot.
Pappalardi fakes the body blow, causing Dren Jr to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Dren Jr goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
