The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henrique De Paulas lands a head kick!
Kroner tries to clinch but Henrique De Paulas moves out of range.
A little jabbing left from Henrique De Paulas on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Kroner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Henrique De Paulas's waist but Henrique De Paulas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kroner off to one side.
Henrique De Paulas is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Henrique De Paulas closes the distance but Kroner moves to the side
and Kroner decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Henrique De Paulas's guard.
Henrique De Paulas is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Kroner dives into side control.
Kroner tries for a kimura but Henrique De Paulas is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kroner in side control, throwing shots but Henrique De Paulas defends.
Kroner has hold of Henrique De Paulas's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Henrique De Paulas seems comfortable defending it but Kroner has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Henrique De Paulas is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Henrique De Paulas is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kroner couldn't care less - he's delighted!
