These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nero Angelo!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angelo staying out of range there.
Frewin scoring well with a low kick there.
Frewin wants to land a leg kick but Angelo is out of range.
Angelo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Angelo looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Frewin is bucking up trying to escape but Angelo cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Angelo has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Frewin has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Angelo has got one arm under Frewin's chin. This could be trouble... Frewin trying to control the other hand but Angelo gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Frewin has tapped out! The fight is over!
