Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Det Bulten (ranked 5113 p4p, 5979 weight class) and George Adamidis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Det Bulten! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, George Adamidis! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adamidis scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Nice strikes from Adamidis there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Adamidis stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Bulten to get to his feet. Bulten gets caught flat footed, as Adamidis shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Adamidis looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Adamidis would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Adamidis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bulten swivels though and keeps the full guard. Adamidis works over Bulten with some ground and pound from guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adamidis wants to control from the top but Bulten keeps moving. Adamidis tries to free his leg and advance position but Bulten is retaining full guard. Bulten looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Adamidis passes into side control.
Bulten is looking to regain half guard here but Adamidis keeps moving and retains side control. Adamidis cracks Bulten with a big elbow. Adamidis trying to control the action but Bulten is working from the bottom. Bulten knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Adamidis on the ground. Bulten tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Adamidis wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adamidis gets to mount! Bulten was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Bulten on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bulten tries to get out of the position. Adamidis scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Adamidis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bulten is trying to reverse the position but instead Adamidis has taken his back - oops! Bulten prevents Adamidis from getting a body triangle.

Adamidis is looking for the choke from the back position but Bulten is controlling his hands well. Adamidis keeps control of the position as Bulten tries to break free.
Bulten is working hard here to advance position. Adamidis is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Bulten is defending well though. Adamidis let's go of the attempt for now. Adamidis looks winded! Adamidis has the hooks in. Bulten is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Adamidis tries to get the hooks in deep but Bulten pushed the leg off. Adamidis biding his time, looking for the opening.
Bulten tries to escape but Adamidis has the hooks in and won't let him break free. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
George Adamidis dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Adamidis closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bulten's guard. Bulten is looking for a triangle but Adamidis pushes his legs off easily.
Adamidis is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Adamidis with a nice head shot there. George Adamidis has got the better of the ground game so far. Bulten isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Adamidis stacks Bulten on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Adamidis! Adamidis gets to mount! Bulten was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Adamidis pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Bulten is looking to get to half guard. Adamidis controlling the position easily from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bulten tries to reverse the position but Adamidis maintains control. Adamidis has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Adamidis is in the full mount, landing strikes. Bulten tries to get back to half guard but can't. Adamidis landing strikes from the mount and Bulten is in trouble! Adamidis cracks Bulten with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Adamidis lands a couple of good shots and Bulten has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
