The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Navarro clinches up with Dramos and pushes him back against the cage.
Navarro drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dramos gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Navarro gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Dramos regains guard.

Navarro is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Dramos is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Navarro defends it well.

You can see the frustration on Navarro's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Dramos is working for a rear naked choke. Navarro is not defending it well and Dramos has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Navarro refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Navarro's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Juliano Dramos!
