The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Barnes has closed the distance and engaged Berendas in a clinch.
Berendas tries to score a body lock takedown but Barnes shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Berendas drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
