Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Luger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zane Newton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Anthony Luger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Zane Newton! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Luger instigates a clinch. Luger content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Newton dodges an elbow strike from Luger.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Newton tries to pull guard but Luger holds him up against the cage and eventually Newton drops back down to his feet.

Newton drops down looking for an ankle pick but Luger pulls his leg out and moves away.
Good leg kick by Luger there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Luger tries to land a front kick but Newton steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Luger throws a leg kick which misses Newton's front leg but catches the back leg as Newton tries to avoid it. Luger's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Luger duly obliges.
Newton is rocked! Luger clinches up against the cage. Newton looking for a takedown. Anthony Luger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zane Newton. Luger darts in and clinches Newton up against the cage. Newton tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Luger is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Luger tries to land knees in the clinch but Newton avoids the damage to the body. Excellent takedown into side control there by Newton. Luger wants to control but Newton postures up. Newton trying to control the position but Luger is working away. Newton taking a breather here. Luger on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Luger tries to get out of the position. Let's hope that Newton has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Newton moves into full mount! Newton with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Luger tries to clinch but Newton moves out of range. Luger tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Luger misses with a leg kick and Newton counters with a single leg into guard. Luger didn't expect that.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Luger looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Newton forces his way into half guard. Luger landing rabbit punches to the side of Newton's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points. Luger controlling the position for now. Luger is pressing down on Newton's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Luger tries to land a sweep but no joy. Newton is fighting to break Luger's control of his arms but Luger is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Anthony Luger will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Newton had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Luger is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Newton Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Luger's back instead. The referee is taking a good look at Luger as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Newton!
A bit of a pause in the action here. Newton controlling the positon. Luger tries to roll but Newton sticks to his back.
