Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Max Planck!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Columbo Gatti and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Ipitan.
Planck throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Planck throws a shot from downtown. Ipitan moves away and avoids it.
Ipitan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Planck.
Ipitan throws a series of punches but Planck moves out of range.
Ipitan misses with a few strikes there.
Planck misses with the combination.
Planck lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Planck looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Ipitan went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Planck stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Planck throws the left hand but Ipitan avoids the punch easily.
Ipitan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ipitan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Planck cracks Ipitan with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ipitan looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Planck finish him?

Ipitan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Planck swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ipitan was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Planck has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.

It looked like Ipitan was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

No joy there for Planck, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Planck is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Ipitan has Planck up against the cage in a clinch.
Ipitan's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Jeez, King Ipitan's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Ipitan with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Ipitan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ipitan swings for the body but Planck moves out of range.
Planck connects with a looping right hand.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at King Ipitan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Max Planck!
