Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Orel (ranked 1286 p4p, 2041 weight class) and Alpharuis Omegon (ranked 195 p4p, 309 weight class). Omegon has chosen Sabaton-Saboteur as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alpharuis Omegon !
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orel throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Omegon shoots in but no luck this time.
Omegon thows a left - swing and a miss!
Omegon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Orel swivels and escapes.
Orel staying out of range there.
Orel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Omegon moves away.
Omegon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Omegon drops his hands momentarily and Orel takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Omegon rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Orel counter with a right hand.
Omegon circles away from the clinch attempt.
Omegon throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Orel tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Omegon is in Orel's guard.
Orel is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Omegon presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Omegon swings wildly with an uppercut but Orel uses good head movement to avoid it.
Orel's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

I was talking to Orel's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Adam Orel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alpharuis Omegon .

Omegon has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Orel seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Omegon can turn it around.

Omegon turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Omegon manages to end up in side control.

Omegon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Orel is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Orel trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Omegon lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Orel! Omegon sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Orel and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
