Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jello Belly (ranked 1392 p4p, 2494 weight class) and Kenjiro Tokugawa (ranked 200 p4p, 324 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jello Belly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kenjiro Tokugawa!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belly moves into the clinch.
Tokugawa avoids a wild elbow strike from Belly.
Tokugawa stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Tokugawa is looking for a triangle but Belly pushes his legs off easily.

Belly feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Tokugawa has his foot on Belly's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Belly works his way back into a safe position though.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Belly looks to land a combination but Tokugawa avoids it well.
Belly thuds a left hand into Tokugawa's body.

It looked like Belly wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A looping hook to the body misses from Belly. Tokugawa does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tokugawa lands with a right hand.
Belly closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tokugawa circles away.

Belly tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tokugawa swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Tokugawa throws a body shot but no joy.

Belly gets a clinch.
Belly has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Tokugawa after a bit of a struggle.
Belly escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Belly lands with a cross.
Tokugawa explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Tokugawa connects with a right hand. Belly shakes it off.
Tokugawa shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Belly manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Belly pushes Tokugawa off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Belly throws a lazy right hand but Tokugawa sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Belly shoots in looking for a takedown. Tokugawa tries to sprawl out of it but Belly keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tokugawa manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jello Belly. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Belly stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tokugawa swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tokugawa bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Belly's guard.
Belly is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tokugawa can do to turn this around?

That was a close second round but I would say that Jello Belly will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Belly sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tokugawa's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Tokugawa fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Belly looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Belly is pushing down on Tokugawa's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tokugawa is fighting to maintain full guard but Belly has managed to sneak the leg through.
Belly is keen to just control but Tokugawa is a slippery customer.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Belly, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
