Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lorenzo Montebianco (ranked 25201 p4p, 3556 weight class) and Noah Wells (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lorenzo Montebianco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Noah Wells! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wells instigates a clinch. Montebianco jumps guard and drags Wells to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Montebianco is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Montebianco manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wells manages to get himself to full guard.
Wells can't keep his opponent in guard - Montebianco advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wells tries to get to full guard but Montebianco has control of the leg. Montebianco wants to take a breather but Wells is having none of it. Wells really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Montebianco. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Montebianco decides to return to a standing position. Wells connects with a body shot. Montebianco takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Wells lands a head shot. Wells lunges at Montebianco with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Montebianco's hand. Wells digs a good body shot into Montebianco's ribs. Montebianco is breathing heavily. Wells lands a nice looking body shot.
Wells feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Montebianco sprawling to the canvas! Montebianco rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Wells finish him?!
Montebianco is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wells knocks out Montebianco with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Wells before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Wells picks up the big W with a huge KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Noah Wells!
