Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Banks (ranked 4763 p4p, 4569 weight class) and Wolfric Dozer (ranked 214 p4p, 203 weight class). Dozer comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Graveyard kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Columbo Gatti and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dozer is defended easily by Banks.
Dozer closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dozer lands in his opponent's guard.
Banks is trying to keep Dozer in close.
Banks on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Banks tries to get out of the position.
Banks tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dozer has gone for a leg lock! Banks slips out almost immediately though and dives into Dozer's guard.
Banks working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Dozer's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Banks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dozer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Banks trying to control the position from guard on top but Dozer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Banks avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Dozer has his feet on Banks's thighs here. He's pushed Banks off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Banks screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
