Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Branimir Tanev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brian Boxley!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tanev darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Tanev is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Tanev thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Boxley can do anything to dispel that myth.
Tanev throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Boxley has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tanev is working away from the top position though.
Boxley won't allow Tanev to pass to mount.
Tanev throwing shots but Boxley is blocking nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Well, if Tanev is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tanev lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Tanev has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Boxley has hold of Tanev's hands but Tanev slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Boxley wants to get back to full guard.

Tanev perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Boxley pushes Tanev off looking to stand but Tanev dives back in and keeps control.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tanev connects with a nice short shot to Boxley's temple.

Tanev is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Boxley is still in real trouble! Can Tanev finish him?
Tanev is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Boxley is hurt! He's hurt bad - Tanev fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Boxley from any more punishment! Congratulations to Tanev! Great finish!
