And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 12 wins and 8 losses; Gotan Wasselach! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Makarov drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Wasselach's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Wasselach is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Makarov is staying active.
