This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Souza drops his hands momentarily and Hawthorne takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Souza tries to clinch up but Hawthorne circles away and keeps his distance.
Hawthorne buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Souza tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hawthorne manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Souza takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Souza looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Souza clobbers Hawthorne with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Hawthorne feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Souza sprawling to the canvas! Souza rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hawthorne finish him?!
Souza switches off momentarily and Hawthorne cracks him with a monster right hand! Souza topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Hawthorne dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Hawthorne!
