Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dayton Kain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pain comes into the arena with Headstrong blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Max Pain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dayton Kain! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kain misses with a looping right. Kain fails with the takedown. Kain lands with a right hand. Kain throws out a powerful jab. Pain avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pain moves away from the strike by Kain. Kain fails in his attempt to clinch. Kain misses with the combination.
Kain tests Pain's chin there with a solid looking shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kain looks for a takedown but Pain sprawls well. Pain shoots for a takedown but Kain saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kain throws a jab when Pain was well out of range. Kain throws a shot to the body.
Kain misses the jab. Pain ducks under a wild hook from Kain. Kain tries to bum rush Pain with a series of wild strikes but Pain uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kain shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kain was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Kain looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Kain prevents Pain from getting the reversal. Kain misses with a head shot. Pain throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Kain is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Pain has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Pain! Kain striking off his back but it's not causing Pain any problems. Pain passes into half guard. Pain is keen to just control but Kain is a slippery customer. Pain is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kain is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Pain landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Pain wants to work for an arm triangle but Kain is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kain really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pain. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kain trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Pain manages to pass to mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pain landing strikes, looking to finish! Pain lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Pain landing strikes from the mount and Kain is in trouble! Pain working the ground and pound effectively.
Kain in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Kain is bucking up trying to escape but Pain cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Kain's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Pain lands with some strikes. Pain has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kain's face.
Kain is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Pain lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kain can't escape the position.
Pain working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Kain turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Pain off and cradles Kain's limp body as Pain celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Max Pain!
