Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, KJ Hoodwell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kimmo Peramaki!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoodwell fails with the takedown.
Peramaki throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Hoodwell has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Hoodwell takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Hoodwell has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Peramaki finds it's way round the side to connect with Hoodwell's head.
Peramaki bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hoodwell's head.
Peramaki displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Hoodwell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hoodwell drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hoodwell wanted to stand there but Peramaki had control of the position.
Peramaki is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Hoodwell rolls with it to try and escape but Peramaki cranks on the arm and Hoodwell is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
