Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bill S Preston (ranked 3531 p4p, 6319 weight class) and Dennis Moody (ranked 402 p4p, 526 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moody avoids the body shot from Preston.
Moody drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Preston defends it well.
Preston throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Preston bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Moody has managed to clinch.

Preston has Moody pressed against the cage, preventing Moody from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Moody is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Preston digs a right hand underneath Moody's ribcage. Moody let out a lung full of air as it connected.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Preston creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Preston dips a shoulder and cracks Moody with a mighty uppercut! Moody falls back against the cage and Preston unloads with a barrage of strikes! Moody is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Preston screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
