Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yaroslav Amosov (ranked 2155 p4p, 1738 weight class) and Jacob Handler (ranked 276 p4p, 239 weight class). Handler has chosen KEEPINITBEEFY as his entrance music. Jacob Handler has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yaroslav Amosov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jacob Handler!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amosov throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Handler on the side of the head.
It looks like Jacob Handler has been cut.
Handler wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
We've been told by Amosov's head coaches at The Devil’s Playground that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Amosov takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Handler lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Amosov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Handler goes for a double leg but Amosov avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Amosov continues to drive forward.

Handler tightens his grip and picks Amosov up, before dumping him to the ground. Amosov manages to land in guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Amosov is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Handler is controlling him.

Handler is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Amosov still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Amosov has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Amosov cracks Handler with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Amosov has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Handler to stand back up!
