Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Ferreira (ranked 5527 p4p, 4362 weight class) and Din Mamma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferreira has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Ferreira! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Din Mamma! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mamma drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Mamma must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Ferreira looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mamma wants to control from the top but Ferreira keeps moving. Mamma avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Mamma got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ferreira has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mamma has managed to get both his arms back between Ferreira's legs - danger averted. Ferreira is breathing heavily. Mamma trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Mamma makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Ferreira definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Mamma wants to control from the top but Ferreira keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mamma stands and steps away. Ferreira gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Mamma slaps away a takedown attempt from Ferreira, before circling back to the center of the mat. Ferreira tries for a takedown but Mamma circles away easily and Mamma holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ferreira can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonio Ferreira. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mamma is trying to trip Ferreira. He has hold of a leg but Ferreira is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Mamma persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Mamma wants to control from the top but Ferreira keeps moving. Mamma really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ferreira. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mamma tries to stand but Ferreira is controlling from the bottom. Ferreira keeping moving, preventing Mamma from controlling successfully. Mamma thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Mamma trying to control but Ferreira is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ferreira is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mamma defends well. Mamma looking to pass the guard. Mamma keeps trying to improve his position. Mamma wants to control from the top but Ferreira keeps moving. Mamma should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Ferreira looking for a triangle here. Mamma is fighting it but it looks tight! Ferreira pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Mamma is tapping out - this one is all over!
