Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Philemon Dander (ranked 4623 p4p, 4349 weight class) and Mohammad Afzul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mohammad Afzul!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Afzul goes for a double leg but Dander avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dander continues to drive forward.
Dander throws a big counter combination but Afzul scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Dander misses with a looping left.
Dander looks to land a combination but Afzul avoids it well.
Afzul gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Afzul is looking to control Dander's arms but Dander gets an underhook and turns him. Now Afzul has his back to the cage.
Afzul prevents a body shot from Dander.
Dander jumps into guard, dragging Afzul to the mat.
Dander is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dander is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Afzul defends well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dander bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Afzul's guard.

Dander postures up and lands a big shot to Afzul's brow.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dander's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Dander is working Afzul over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Afzul wants to control but Dander passes easily into half guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dander in particular looking to stall.

Dander seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Dander is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dander connects with a nice short shot to Afzul's temple.

Dander slips a nice elbow through Afzul's hands, connecting with Afzul's forehead.
Dander uses his free foot to push down on Afzul's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Afzul.
Afzul takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Dander lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Afzul hang on?
Dander pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Afzul is rocked!
Dander has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Dander lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Afzul! Dander sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Afzul and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
