Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sigandi Legend (ranked 4364 p4p, 4384 weight class) and Tomas Fizipe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Fizipe.
Fizipe shoots in looking for a takedown but Legend manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fizipe's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Legend throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fizipe was covering up waiting for the punch and Legend finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Fizipe kicks Legend off and gets to his feet.
Fizipe moves out of range of the leg kick from Legend.

Legend drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Fizipe manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Legend tries to pull guard but Fizipe holds him up against the cage and eventually Legend drops back down to his feet.

Sigandi Legend has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tomas Fizipe.

Fizipe escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fizipe moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Fizipe fails with a takedown attempt.
Legend drops down looking for a counter takedown but Fizipe sprawls and moves away.
Legend slaps away a takedown attempt from Fizipe, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Legend throws a left and a right that both miss
and Fizipe counters with a nice low kick that buckles Legend's knee momentarily.
Fizipe shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Legend gets the takedown into side control.
Legend just content to control the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Legend advances nicely into full mount.
Legend landing strikes from the mount.
Fizipe manages to regain half guard. Good work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fizipe wants to get back to full guard.
Legend scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Legend connects with a nice short shot to Fizipe's temple.
Legend is taking a breather. Fizipe says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Legend passes the guard and advances to mount!
Legend lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fizipe wants to hold on but Legend pushes him away.
Legend looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Legend lands a nice shot to the head.

Fizipe is rocked!
Fizipe keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Legend unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Fizipe wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Legend celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
