Niko could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Empalador tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Niko tries to control but Empalador wriggling away.
Empalador is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Niko prevents Empalador from getting the reversal.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Empalador tries to lock up and control but Niko gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Niko avoids the attempt from Empalador to control.

Niko wants to control the pace but Empalador is squirming around nicely.
Empalador is looking to improve his position but Niko isn't that keen on the idea.

Empalador tries to lock up and control but Niko gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Niko lands a big shot there that rocks Empalador but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Niko can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Empalador is looking to escape.
Niko has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Empalador's face.
Empalador is looking to get to half guard.
Empalador is bucking up trying to escape but Niko cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Empalador is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Empalador is trying to stand up.

Niko is working for a guillotine from mount but Empalador frees his head quite easily.

Empalador tries to improve his position but Niko has taken his back! Niko has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Empalador tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Niko pushes Empalador away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
