Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Smooth (ranked 2688 p4p, 3005 weight class) and Randy Macho Man (ranked 314 p4p, 345 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macho Man darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Smooth looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Macho Man misses the jab.
Smooth throws a shot from downtown. Macho Man moves away and avoids it.
Macho Man checks a leg kick nicely.
Macho Man misses with a left hand

and Smooth counters with a single leg into guard. Macho Man didn't expect that.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Macho Man working a defensive guard but Smooth passes into half guard.
Smooth not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Smooth has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Macho Man is doing well to control the position and prevent Smooth from advancing to side control.
Smooth winds up and cracks Macho Man with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Smooth will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
