Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Noah Archer (ranked 4307 p4p, 4785 weight class) and Alex Pereira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Ron Honeybunn and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Archer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pereira misses the jab.
Archer was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Pereira clobbers Archer with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Pereira looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Archer misses with a hook.
Pereira throws out a counter right but Archer avoids it with no problem.
Archer looks to score with a jab to the body but Pereira is just out of range.
Pereira takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Pereira has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Archer finds it's way round the side to connect with Pereira's head.

Archer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pereira stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Archer wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Archer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pereira moves away.

Pereira tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Archer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Pereira might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Alex Pereira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pereira drives through and clinches with Archer against the cage.

Archer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
