PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Sylvia (ranked 4411 p4p, 5275 weight class) and Anton Messier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Messier has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Sylvia.
Check out the look on Sylvia's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Sylvia looks up at the clock and then as Messier takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Sylvia smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Sylvia cracks Messier with a big right hand but Messier just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Messier is letting Sylvia control him for a moment.
Messier tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Sylvia scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Messier to see if he's OK.
