Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Dinny (ranked 4324 p4p, 4514 weight class) and Viktor Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sam Dinny! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Viktor Duran! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duran stuffs the takedown. Dinny tries to close the distance and clinch up but Duran swats him away and circles back towards the center. Duran does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Dinny throwing a counter right hand but Duran manages to avoid it. Dinny shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Duran sprawls well. Duran wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dinny gets slowly back to his feet. Duran has Dinny up against the cage in a clinch.
Dinny fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sam Dinny. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duran turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Duran manages to end up in side control. Duran remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Duran looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dinny gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Duran tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dinny knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Duran prevents Dinny from improving his position. Duran tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Dinny.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dinny manages to get to full guard.
Duran gets to his feet - Dinny follows without any prompting. Duran gets a clinch. Duran pulls guard effortlessly. Dinny throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Duran works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Duran keeping full guard, as Dinny tries to pass. Duran is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duran looking for a sweep. Not yet Duran, not yet. Duran is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Dinny is stalling in the full guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Dinny scoring with some ground and pound. Dinny wants to control from the top but Duran keeps moving. Dinny landing some decent shots from guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Dinny engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Dinny stands and steps away. Duran gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dinny blocks a head kick by Duran.
Duran doesn't succeed with the takedown and Dinny counters with a left and a right that stings Duran. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Viktor Duran will probably get the nod. That's time! Dinny's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Dinny goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Dinny fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Duran changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Duran fails with the takedown. Sam Dinny is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Duran moves into the clinch successfully.
Dinny is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Duran is defending well. Dinny is trying to break the clinch but Duran is controlling him. Duran's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dinny darts in looking for a takedown but Duran gets double underhooks and turns Dinny into the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sam Dinny. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dinny tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Duran just stands there and leans against the cage. Dinny is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Duran is defending well. Dinny avoiding damage as Duran throws knees to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duran stalling against the cage.
Duran can't get the takedown.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Duran. Dinny is trying to maintain a safe position but Duran gets an underhook and turns Dinny into the cage. Duran pulls guard. Dinny avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Duran can do anything to dispel that myth. Duran is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Duran is breathing heavily. Dinny gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duran throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dinny's head. Duran closes the distance but Dinny moves to the side and Dinny cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Duran tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dinny defends well and Duran ends up having to push Dinny into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Dinny is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Dinny clinches. Duran tries to break free but Dinny pushes him back against the cage. Dinny stalling.
Dinny drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Duran gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Duran breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dinny closes this distance looking for a takedown but Duran circles away. Duran has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Dinny moves out of range of the body kick. Duran misses with a double jab.
Dinny throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Duran swats away the attempt to clinch by Dinny. Dinny is looking to clinch. Duran shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Duran showed some decent athleticism there. Dinny pushes Duran off and gets back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Duran gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dinny sitting in guard here, content to control. Dinny trying to control the position from guard on top but Duran is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sam Dinny overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Duran really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dinny. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dinny stays in close to Duran's body and controls the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Viktor Duran will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! Duran fails with the takedown. The fight stays on the outside here - Dinny looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nice takedown defense from Duran. No joy for Dinny on that attempt. Duran fails with a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No luck for Duran with that takedown attempt. Sam Dinny has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Viktor Duran. Duran takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Dinny blocks a head kick by Duran.
Duran keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duran shoots in and drives through. Dinny sprawls well. Dinny throws a head kick that misses. Dinny drives through with a takedown into Duran's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Duran is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Dinny dives into side control.
Dinny staying calm. Dinny wants to control but Duran is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dinny moves into full mount! Duran wants to hold on but Dinny pushes him away. Dinny controlling from the full mount. Duran wants to control but Dinny is having none of it. Dinny looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duran is bucking up trying to escape but Dinny cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Dinny tries to control but Duran wriggling away. Duran wants to control but Dinny is having none of it. Dinny goes for an armbar but Duran turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Duran.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Duran decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Dinny shoots in and drives through. Duran sprawls well. Dinny throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Duran's waist but Duran gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dinny off to one side. Duran fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dinny, pushing him back against the cage. Duran manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Dinny wants a takedown but no success here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Duran pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sam Dinny. I think Duran has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
