The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaafjord misses with a jab, cross combination.
Side throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Side tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kaafjord was well out of range. Poor timing from Side.
Kaafjord attempts a counter takedown but Side avoids it well and moves away.
Kaafjord drives through and clinches with Side against the cage.
Kaafjord lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Side working hard to break the clinch.
Side tries to throw a body punch but Kaafjord avoids it by throwing Side back against the cage.
Side has a couple of punches blocked by Kaafjord.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kaafjord struggles to land a body shot inside as Side controls his hands.
We've been hearing reports that Kaafjord has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
