Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Temirbek Yuldashev (ranked 2526 p4p, 22955 weight class) and Covid Gonna Get (ranked 377 p4p, 649 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Yuldashev might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Seven Nation Army - The White Stripes. Covid Gonna Get told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Ivan Kurochkin and Illya Tyunina.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Gonna Get or perhaps it was just good defense by Yuldashev, which made it look bad.
Gonna Get goes for a double leg but Yuldashev avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Yuldashev continues to drive forward.
Yuldashev lands with a right hand.

It looks like Covid Gonna Get has been cut.
Gonna Get stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Yuldashev.
Gonna Get uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Yuldashev.

Yuldashev fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gonna Get, pushing him back against the cage.
Gonna Get drops down looking for an ankle pick but Yuldashev pulls his leg out and moves away.
Temirbek Yuldashev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Covid Gonna Get.
Gonna Get fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Gonna Get looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Yuldashev is fending him off so far but Gonna Get persists. Nope, Yuldashev circles away and we're back to standing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gonna Get shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Yuldashev pinned against the cage. Yuldashev gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Yuldashev takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Yuldashev lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Yuldashev prevents a takedown attempt there.
Gonna Get blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Gonna Get is trying to drag Yuldashev to the mat but Yuldashev just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Yuldashev rushes Gonna Get and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Gonna Get is still on wobbly legs! Can Yuldashev finish him?
Yuldashev creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Gonna Get's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Gonna Get drops to his knees and Yuldashev pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Temirbek Yuldashev!
A relieved looking Temirbek Yuldashev thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
