PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Fallas (ranked 3383 p4p, 4061 weight class) and Mikey Poundstone (ranked 423 p4p, 486 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alistair Fallas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mikey Poundstone!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poundstone misses with the body kick

and Fallas counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Poundstone!
Fallas scores with a couple of short elbows.
Fallas looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Poundstone is avoiding damage well.
Fallas in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Poundstone regains half guard, as Fallas was trying to land strikes.
