Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 69 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mmm Mmm!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksandr Martynov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lapierre lands a lovely overhand right.
Lapierre uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Mmm has time to react.
A shot to the liver by Lapierre. Beautiful body shot.
Mmm ducks under a wild hook from Lapierre.
Mmm counters with a body kick.
Lapierre connects with a single shot there.
Lapierre scores with the left hand. Mmm knows he should have avoided that one.
Lapierre misses with an uppercut. Mmm saw that one coming.
And Mmm responds with a good body kick, but Lapierre manages to step out the way in time.
Lapierre lands with a nice body punch.
Lapierre ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Lapierre fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lapierre lands a nice shot to the body.
Lapierre digs a good body shot into Mmm's ribs.
Lapierre throws a body punch but Mmm moves out of range.
Mmm takes one to the chin there.
It looks like Lapierre has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Lapierre connects with a body shot that sends Mmm's belly button to the back.
Lapierre lands with a shot to the body.

The crowd cheers as Lapierre lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mmm doesn't seem phased though.
Lapierre cracks Mmm with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Verney Lapierre is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lapierre scores with a punch to the head.
Mmm is rocked!
Mmm gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Lapierre gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Mmm is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Verney Lapierre!
During a confident post fight interview, Verney Lapierre thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
