Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sigandi Legend! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sigandi Legend! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fighter B gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fighter A content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Fighter B uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Fighter A is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Fighter B.
It looks like Sigandi Legend has been cut. Fighter B throws a right and a left that both miss. Fighter B avoids the head kick by Fighter A.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fighter A misses with a series of wild punches.
Fighter B misses with a few strikes there.
It looked like Fighter A wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Fighter B throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fighter A counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fighter A is controlling the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A uses his free foot to push down on Fighter B's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Fighter B. Fighter A trying to control but Fighter B is having none of it. Fighter B's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Fighter B is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Fighter A has taken his back.
Fighter B is trying to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter A has his arm under Fighter B's chin here. Game over son! Fighter A squeezes tightly and Fighter B is forced to tap out!
