Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eli Pope!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Doofy McGriff!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pope tries to work over McGriff's front leg with a kick but McGriff checks it.
McGriff misses with a takedown attempt - Pope sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Pope throws a hook but McGriff blocks it.
McGriff tries to clinch there but Pope circles away.
Pope was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Pope misses the shot to the body.
Pope misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McGriff.
Pope keeps the fight on the outside.
Pope avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pope fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McGriff.
McGriff takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Pope looks to land a body kick but McGriff moved away.
Pope throws a body shot but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McGriff tries to clinch there but Pope circles away.
Pope is looking to counter punch.
McGriff throws a head kick but Pope moves out of range.
Pope is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McGriff.
No luck with that takedown attempt from McGriff.
McGriff changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pope tries to avoid it but McGriff manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pope to the ground. Pope escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Eli Pope has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Doofy McGriff.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pope takes a swing at McGriff's ribcage but misses.
Pope definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
McGriff shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pope as he avoids it easily.
McGriff will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pope throws a low kick but it's checked well by McGriff.
Pope throws out a powerful jab.
It looks like Doofy McGriff has been cut.
Pope moves out of range as McGriff throws a body kick.
Pope pushes McGriff away with a front kick.
Pope is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops McGriff like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving McGriff from another fist facial!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eli Pope!
