Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Banzai Bunji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hyonjo Joung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bunji comes to the ring accompanied by One More Time. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Banzai Bunji!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hyonjo Joung!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bunji throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Bunji shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bunji was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Joung wants to hold on but Bunji pushes him away.
Bunji with shots to the head and body - Joung looks very uncomfortable down there.

Bunji is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Joung is surviving well by controlling Bunji's body position as best he can.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Bunji is edging up against the ropes. He's using the ropes to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Joung manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Joung is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee warns Bunji that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Bunji tries to reverse the position but Joung maintains control.

A close round but Hyonjo Joung will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Joung has his takedown stuffed
and Bunji counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Joung closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bunji wants to control but Joung is keeping busy.
Joung lands strikes from half guard.
Joung seems to be looking for submissions.
Bunji is staying active underneath Joung, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Bunji is defending against the submission attempts here by Joung.

Joung looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Joung is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bunji defends it well.
Bunji is looking to control Joung's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bunji avoid being mounted?

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Joung with a lazy takedown attempt
and Bunji counters with a shoot takedown. Joung fights it but they end up in guard.
Joung trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Joung will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Bunji got a little sloppy there for a moment and Joung has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bunji has managed to get both his arms back between Joung's legs - danger averted.
Bunji is sitting in close to Joung's body. Joung has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Bunji is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Bunji is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Joung.
