And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rashid Atkins!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atkins misses with an uppercut.
Nice sprawl there from Oliveira as Atkins shoots in.
Rashid Atkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Atkins throws a sloppy body shot
and Oliveira counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Rashid Atkins has been cut.
Oliveira jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
A combination from Oliveira does no damage.
Atkins swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Atkins misses the target.
Atkins looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Atkins misses with a low kick.
We've been told by Oliveira's head coaches at Shinobi Martial Arts & Ninjutsu that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Atkins looks to score with a jab to the body but Oliveira is just out of range.

Atkins gets tackled into the cage by Oliveira. Oliveira maintains the clinch.
Atkins has Oliveira pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Oliveira manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Vincenzo Oliveira has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rashid Atkins.
Atkins misses with a body punch.

Atkins tries to throw a body punch but Oliveira avoids it by throwing Atkins back against the cage.

Oliveira breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Atkins fails with the takedown
and Oliveira counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Oliveira throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Atkins colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Oliveira as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Atkins is left battered and dazed whilst Oliveira and his camp cheer!
