Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Douglas Buster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Thomas Bernabei! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buster shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bernabei napping and manages to drive through into side control! Buster in side control lands a decent elbow. Bernabei being controlled for a moment. Buster grinds an elbow into Bernabei's temple. Buster is putting a hurting on Bernabei here, landing some big shots from side control. Bernabei gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Bernabei trying to control here.

Bernabei is rocked! Bernabei has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Buster is working away from the top position though. Bernabei is still in real trouble! Can Buster finish him? Buster looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Buster has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bernabei has hold of Buster's hands but Buster slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Buster lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Buster lands with a punch from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bernabei trying to control here.
Still in half guard, Buster seems content to control.

More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Bernabei! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
