Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Kamenev rushes Hozdic and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Kamenev is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Hozdic gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Hozdic is looking to take this one to the mat. Kamenev wants the takedown. Hozdic is fighting it off but Kamenev persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hozdic's guard against the ropes. Kamenev trying to control but Hozdic is working from the bottom. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Hozdic has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kamenev can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hozdic is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kamenev is aware though and is defending well. Kamenev pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hozdic is keeping the position for now. Hozdic pushes a forearm under Kamenev's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm?
