Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kugus Amiga (ranked 24328 p4p, 24332 weight class) and Clifford Val Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kugus Amiga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 37 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clifford Val Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga dives in for a single leg takedown but Salvacion sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Salvacion gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Salvacion is fighting to break Amiga's control of his arms but Amiga is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Salvacion replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Amiga blocks it well.
Amiga throws the kick towards the body but Salvacion avoids it.
A nice side step and Salvacion releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Salvacion shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Amiga sprawls well. Amiga wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Salvacion gets slowly back to his feet.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Amiga tries to score a power double leg takedown but Salvacion sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Amiga somewhat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
