Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ding Ding Dong (ranked 5716 p4p, 2403 weight class) and Jimme Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ding Ding Dong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jimme Collins!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ding Dong tries to score a power double leg takedown but Collins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ding Dong somewhat.
Collins misses with a double jab.
Nice sprawl there from Collins as Ding Dong shoots in.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Collins! But no joy.
Collins misses with a few strikes there.
A telegraphed right hand from Collins misses the target.
Collins throws a jab when Ding Dong was well out of range.
Collins throws a nice looking combination but Ding Dong bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Collins ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Ding Dong ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ding Dong seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Ding Dong shoots in looking for a takedown. Collins tries to sprawl out of it but Ding Dong keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Collins manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ding Ding Dong. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Collins lands a slapping body shot.
Ding Dong on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Collins scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Ding Ding Dong has been cut.
Collins tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ding Dong was well out of range. Poor timing from Collins.
Ding Dong displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Collins throws out the jab.
Collins throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ding Dong stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Collins takes a swing at Ding Dong's ribcage but misses.
Ding Dong looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.

and Collins connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ding Dong doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Collins counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

A looping hook to the body misses from Collins. Ding Dong does a little dance to reset his feet.
Collins swings for the body but Ding Dong moves out of range.
Collins looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ding Dong is breathing heavily.
Ding Dong takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Collins throws a series of punches but Ding Dong moves out of range.
Collins lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ding Dong at a distance.

Sloppy strikes from Collins. Those never looked like landing.
Ding Dong throws a big counter combination but Collins scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Collins catches Ding Dong with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Ding Dong takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Collins lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ding Dong at a distance.
Collins thuds his right hand into Ding Dong's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Collins fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Jimme Collins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Collins throws a right and a left that Ding Dong avoids nicely.
Collins lunges at Ding Dong with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ding Dong's hand.
Ding Dong walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Collins lands a jab to Ding Dong's midsection.
Collins lands a nice looking body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Collins connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ding Dong momentarily.

Collins lands a left and a right that send Ding Dong crashing to the mat, dazed. Collins thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Ding Dong is rocked!

Collins drops Ding Dong with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ding Dong looks back up at him and smiles so Collins waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Ding Dong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Collins scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ding Dong doesn't seem bothered though.
Ding Dong seems to have got his legs back now.
Collins connects with a looping right hand.
Ding Dong throws a wild hook but Collins just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Ding Dong gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Collins raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimme Collins!
