Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between OJ Simpson (ranked 25268 p4p, 5250 weight class) and Tom DeBlass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tom DeBlass is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tom DeBlass!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeBlass gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Simpson counters with a nice uppercut.
DeBlass shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Simpson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

OJ Simpson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom DeBlass.
DeBlass misses with a takedown attempt
and Simpson counters with a stiff right hand.
DeBlass dives in and scores a takedown into Simpson's guard.
DeBlass slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Simpson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for DeBlass on the ground.

DeBlass thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

DeBlass tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Simpson looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Simpson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and DeBlass counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
DeBlass sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Simpson's guard.
Well, if DeBlass is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight� I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza� Yum. Can't wait.

Let's hope that DeBlass has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Simpson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Simpson tries to get out of the position.
DeBlass is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Simpson defends it well.
