The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ellington throws a leg kick which misses Lake's front leg but catches the back leg as Lake tries to avoid it.
Ellington throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Lake chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ellington can pounce on him.
Ellington lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

and Lake counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

letting Lake counter with a right hand.

Ellington sends Lake crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Ellington is motioning to the referee to let Lake up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ellington pounces like a tiger and cracks Lake with a vicious hook! Lake is down but not out! Ellington follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
