And in the blue corner, fighting out of St Petersburg, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Logan Justis! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Justis shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Larkin is trying to defend but Justis finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Justis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Larkin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Larkin wants to improve his position but Justis is controlling well.
Justis stalling away here and it's allowed Larkin to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Justis slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Justis preventing the sweep. Larkin has control of Justis's left arm, preventing Justis from doing any damage.
That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Justis controls from within his opponent's guard. Larkin keeping full guard, as Justis tries to pass. Larkin trying to keep a closed guard but Justis is proving a slippery customer.

That's thirteen minutes gone in the round. Justis is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Larkin is just riding it out for now. Justis eventually gives up the hold. Justis is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Larkin doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Justis. Larkin is pressing down on Justis's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Justis keeping moving, preventing Larkin from controlling successfully. Justis is trying to control the position from the bottom.
