This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Jorge Rojas!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Bong closes the distance and pushes Rojas back into the cage.
Rojas's coach down at Canadian Combat Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Rojas's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Bong has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Rojas avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Bong is looking to take this one to the mat.
Bong can't get the takedown.

Bong tries to pull guard but Rojas won't allow it.
