This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Andrew Clay! And in the blue corner, fighting out of St Petersburg, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 1 losses; CJ Robinson! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Robinson fails with a takedown attempt. Robinson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Clay defends well and Robinson ends up having to push Clay into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Clay tries to counter by clinching up but Robinson breaks away and moves out of range. Nice sprawl there from Clay as Robinson shoots in. Andrew Clay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of CJ Robinson. Robinson goes for a double leg but Clay avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Clay continues to drive forward. Robinson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Clay sprawls well. Clay wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Robinson gets slowly back to his feet. Clay instigates a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Robinson jumps guard but Clay stands there with Robinson around his waist. Robinson gives up and drops back to his feet. Robinson tries to escape but Clay has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Clay keeps control of the position easily here as Robinson tries to buck him off.
